MixR Knowledge BaseWelcome to MixR! GroupsmixrsFeedsmyHome & DiscoverWhat is the difference between an organization and a workplace?
A Workplace is a space within your Organization that houses interest-based groups and mixrs created by employees. See below for an example with one Workplace, a general group and specific groups based on common factors (i.e. regional groups):
- General groups gather all members of a Workplace join a common conversation and create mixrs together
- All other groups are based on specific interests. These groups can be public (open to anyone in the Workplace), or private (open to members of that group only).
It is also possible for your Organization to house more than one Workplace. In this case, members are unable to communicate with each other between Workplaces.
