Why do you need my birth date?

For liability reasons , we need to verify that you are old enough to participate in certain groups created around age-restricted interests, such as wine or beer. That being said, your birthdate is by default private. If you wish to make it public, go to “My Profile”, scroll down to your birthdate and click on the Public button.
